Would you like to take part in a team-based challenge, work on a real process industry case, and experience an immersive learning opportunity in close contact with the business world?
The PROCESS INDUSTRY CAREER COMPETITION is the perfect opportunity to test your skills, strengthen your soft skills, and collaborate with other students on real-world challenges related to industrial processes, innovation, and production efficiency.
How does it work?
You will be placed in a multidisciplinary team, made up of students from different degree programs. The Career Service will launch a real challenge related to the process industry, which your group will be required to analyze and solve within a limited time frame.
To support your work, companies from the sector will share real cases, projects, and practical insights, offering a direct view of industrial dynamics and the challenges faced daily in production environments.
What can you expect?

Eligibility criteria
- Open to students and graduates in the following fields: Design & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials and Nanotechnology Engineering, Management Engineering, Industrial Safety and Risk Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Industrial Production Engineering, Food Engineering, Environmental and Land Engineering, Food Engineering;
- Participation will be granted to the first 50 students who register, based on the order of registration
How to participate
To join the event, you must register through the dedicated page.
When registering, you’ll be asked to answer a few preliminary questions to help the Career Service assign participants to balanced teams. If you would like to be placed in the same team as a fellow student, you’ll be able to indicate their name in the form.
Once registrations close, you will receive a confirmation email from the Career Service with further details about the challenge and your team assignment.
Please note that the event will be held in English and is part of the Career Service Award.
All events are open exclusively to students and graduates of Politecnico di Milano.
Participating companies will be announced at a later date.
