Jolin is an independent music technology studio led by Federico Intrisano, hardware designer and musician. Founded in 2018, the studio designs and produces modular synthesizers and sound installations, combining electronic engineering, sound design, and artistic research. Working Method: Small multidisciplinary team. Strong focus on hands-on prototyping, peer review, and iterative design. Projects balance experimentation with technical reliability and manufacturability. Products and Projects: Modular synthesizers (analog and hybrid) Small-series electronic instruments Sound art installations All instruments are individually assembled and tested. Curricular internships focused on: 3D design and visualizations Electronic circuit design and testing Prototyping of audio hardware Modular synthesizer development Interns are involved in real projects across the full development cycle. Skills of Interest: Electronics engineering, embedded systems, PCB design, signal processing, interest in experimental sound. Vision: Exploring human–machine interaction through sound and electronic instruments.
