TaDa - Energy Intelligence and Demand Flexibility from Smart Meters, No Hardware Required European households waste up to 30% of their electricity because they lack visibility into what drives their consumption. Energy retailers, meanwhile, struggle with high churn rates and limited tools to engage customers beyond billing. Over 195 million second-generation smart meters are being installed across Europe, transmitting granular consumption data that remains largely untapped by both retailers and consumers. TaDa turns every smart meter into an intelligent energy sensor. Using proprietary NILM (Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring) algorithms and the open Chain2 communication protocol, TaDa disaggregates a household's electricity curve into individual appliance-level consumption - in near real-time, with no installation, no additional hardware, and no disruption to the end user. Our patent-pending load curve reconstruction technology, developed with Politecnico di Milano, achieves appliance-level accuracy that competitors can only obtain through costly hardware add-ons. Our core B2B2C model provides energy retailers, insurers, and smart home operators with a white-label intelligence layer they embed into their existing customer interfaces. For retailers, this creates immediate value: personalized energy insights increase customer engagement and reduce churn, while appliance-level consumption data generates qualified leads for upselling (e.g. efficient appliance replacement, solar, storage) and cross-selling with partner ecosystems. Anomaly detection enables additional verticals such as elderly care monitoring and parametric insurance products. Because TaDa identifies and quantifies every modulable load in the household - heat pumps, water heaters, EV chargers, batteries - the same technology becomes the enabling infrastructure for demand-side flexibility.
