Founded in 2008 at the Area Science Park in Trieste, Italy, Amped Software is a software company developing solutions for forensic image and video analysis. The company was established by its CEO and Founder, Martino Jerian, following research conducted at the University of Trieste in collaboration with the Italian Carabinieri (Law enforcement agency). This academic foundation led to the development of Amped's first product, Amped FIVE: a flagship solution designed to address the specific requirements of forensic analysts when enhancing videos and images. The company has now enriched its portfolio with products for image and video analysis and authentication, and for the conversion of proprietary video formats.
