About us

Biomimicry Granada, https://biomimicrygranada.com/ is a non-profit organization based in Granada, Spain. As part of an international network of biomimicry professionals, we use nature’s wisdom as a tool to transform perceptions and promote positive changes when solving human challenges. Biomimicry, the practice of observing and emulating nature to solve human challenges, is one of the main methodologies we apply and teach. Nevertheless, this is not the only tool available to bring nature principles to the design table. Nature-based solutions (NBS) are another approach gaining popularity in recent years, being complementary to biomimicry in design and innovation. In addition, we work in the fields of Life Cycle Assessment, Ecological Assessment, Design for Sustainability. Within our team, we have multiple professionals working within all these related fields. We come together at Biomimicry Granada to give back through community building and education.
