The IT industry is constantly evolving: emerging technologies, Artificial Intelligence, software engineering, cybersecurity, data, cloud computing and digital transformation are reshaping professional roles, skills and career opportunities.

Join the Roundtable with Companies in Class for Computer Science and Engineering Students, an event organized by the Career Service of Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with Prof. Francesco Amigoni, designed to offer students the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals.

During the event, representatives from different companies with technical backgrounds in IT, software engineering and digital technologies will share their professional experiences, providing insights into their daily activities, projects, technological challenges and the skills currently required in the job market.

The roundtable will be an opportunity to explore:

→ The main career paths and professional roles available to Computer Science and Engineering graduates;
→ The evolution of IT professions and the impact of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies;
→ The technical and soft skills most valued by employers;
→ Real-world examples of projects, activities and technological challenges faced by industry professionals;
→ How the knowledge and skills acquired during university studies are applied in professional environments.

The event will feature an interactive discussion with company representatives, giving students the opportunity to gain first-hand insights into career prospects, professional opportunities and the technological transformations shaping the IT sector.
