Would you like to take part in a team challenge, work on a real business case and experience an immersive activity?

 

Data Career Competition is the right opportunity to test your abilities, strengthen your soft skills and work with other students on a current and strategic topic: using data to analyse complex problems, generate insights and develop innovative solutions in real-life contexts.

 

How does it work?

 

You will be assigned to a multidisciplinary team together with students from other degree programmes. The Career Service will present you with a concrete challenge related to the world of data, to be solved with your group within a limited time.

The challenge may focus on topics such as data analysis and visualisation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, mathematical modelling, process optimisation, data-driven service design, digital technologies, intelligent systems and decision support in business and industrial contexts.

To support your work, some companies will share real projects and innovative insights, offering inspiration and a direct view of the world of work.

Participation criteria

 

• Being students or graduates from the following degree programmes: Design della Comunicazione, Digital and Interaction Design, Product Service System Design, Computer Science and Engineering - Ingegneria Informatica, Management Engineering - Ingegneria Gestionale, Electrical Engineering - Ingegneria Elettrica, Electronics Engineering - Ingegneria Elettronica, Geoinformatics Engineering - Ingegneria Geoinformatica, Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance, Mathematical Engineering - Ingegneria Matematica, Engineering Physics - Ingegneria Fisica, Telecommunication Engineering - Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni, High Performance Computing Engineering, Music and Acoustic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering - Ingegneria Biomedica.
• Chronological order of registration: the first 50 students registered for the event will be admitted.

 

How to participate

 

To take part in the event, you will need to register on this page. During registration, you will be asked to answer a few preliminary questions that will help the Career Service staff create heterogeneous teams.

If you would like to involve one of your classmates, you will be able to indicate this in the preliminary questions.

After registration closes, students will be contacted by email by the Career Service to receive confirmation of participation, instructions to take part in the challenge and the team to which they have been assigned.

Please note that the event will be held in Italian and is part of the Career Service Award.
