Are you a student curious to discover what can go wrong in a Cyber Security project and how a mistake can turn into a valuable learning opportunity?

 

Take part in WHAT WENT WRONG: CYBERSECURITY CASE, an interactive and engaging event format designed to challenge you with real-world cyber security cases, presented directly by companies and professionals working in the field.

 

During the event, you will be involved in practical cyber security challenges, such as:

·       security incident management and data breaches;

·       protection of critical infrastructures and complex systems;

·       application and network vulnerabilities;

·       security design, configuration, or governance failures;

·       business continuity, resilience, and cyber incident response.

 

Each company will present a real problem faced during a cyber security project and invite you to analyze the context, identify where something went wrong, and choose the solution you believe is most appropriate between two possible options.

You will be able to submit your choice in real time through live polling, comparing your reasoning with that of other students. Immediately afterwards, the company will explain how the issue was actually resolved, highlighting the decisions made, the mistakes encountered, and the key lessons learned, both from a technical and organizational perspective.

 

The event will conclude with a Q&A session, giving you the opportunity to dive deeper into the cases, ask direct questions to industry professionals, and better understand the skills and competencies required in cyber security projects.
